Don Bosco School, Carmel Nagar, Gunadala celebrated 72nd Republic day in a very fitting and zest manner on 26th January 2021. The day reminds and honours the constitution of India which came into effect. The constitution was adopted by the Indian constituent Assembly on 26th January, 1950.
Don Bosco School missed the laughter and excitement of the little children who are the sunshine of the school because of Covid – 19. Nevertheless, we had a small audience of management, teaching and non- teaching staff.
The event stated at 08.30am with the teachers and non-teaching staff as all had gathered in front of the school stage. The chief guest, correspondent Rev. Fr. Kishore has hoisted the flag and national Anthem was sung. The Correspondent in his message highlighted the situation of the farmers in Delhi facing the biting cold and spoke of the importance of unity.
The school student Master P. Rahul Dev 6th class gave a small message on Republic day. As a conclusion, Principal Rev. Fr. Bhaskar encouraged teachers on how they could make the students aware of Constitutional values and to make them guardians of Constitution to change India for better.
