Don Bosco School, Carmel Nagar, Gunadala has organized first physical parent meeting after one year on 20.03.21 at 11.15am. The response was praise worthy, 80% of parents were present for the meeting.
The PTA meeting was on the theme: BOOST THE PARENT INVOLVEMENT.
The meeting started with the prayer invoking God’s blessings upon every parent and the staff, followed by personal impressions of the school by eighth class student.
Later Rev. Fr. Bhaskar, the Principal led the meeting by greeting all the parents with positive note and energy. In the meeting the principal appreciated the parents for their support during the year of COVID-19. He also had a discussion with the parents about the children’s intellectual and physical status before and during Covid-19. He also brought to the notice of the parents the changes that occurred in the children due to the physical absence to the School. Principal suggested to the parents INTENSIVE REVISION CLASSES in the month of April for all the students 1st to 8th to bring them to the certain standards, all the parents happily agreed to the suggestion. Principal encouraged all the parents to send the students physically to the school. He urged the parents to follow all the guidelines given by the AP government to safe guard the children from Corona.
At the end of the meeting principal appreciated the staff for successful completion of year of online classes. He also shared the good news of the school getting affiliation to CBSE New Delhi. Before closing of the meeting the principal has given time for parents to speak, the parents expressed their doubts and principal clarified their doubts. The meeting ended with happy note at 12.15pm.
