Don Bosco School Celebrates India’s 79th Independence Day with Fervor and Enthusiasm

August 15, 2025, marked a momentous occasion for Don Bosco School as it celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with great pomp and ceremony. The event, which commenced at 8:30 a.m., witnessed the dignified presence of fathers, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and students.

The ceremony began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a heartfelt speech by the Chief Guest, Reverend Father Dileep, after a solemn prayer. In his address, Reverend Father Dileep emphasized the significance of independence and the role of the youth in nation-building.

The cultural program that ensued was a vibrant display of patriotism, showcasing the students’ love for their country. The program featured variety of dances by our students to classical and western medlies, a patriotic costume show, and multilingual speeches by the students. These performances not only highlighted India’s rich cultural diversity but also instilled a sense of national pride among the students.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, sweets distribution, and a photography session with all attendees. The celebration was marked by superb weather, which added to the overall enthusiasm and excitement of the occasion.

Don Bosco School extends its heartfelt gratitude to Reverend Father Bhaskar, Principal, for guiding and supporting the event. Special thanks are also due to Reverend Father Prem, young mentor, for his contribution to the success of the celebration. Above all, the school community expresses its gratitude to the Almighty Father for blessing the nation and guiding its progress.
