Teachers’ Day Celebrations
Don Bosco School, Gunadala, 5 September 2019: Teachers play an important role in the lives of the students to become successful in career and in life. They help them to become a good human beings in the society and good citizens of the country. Teachers provide data and information in the brain of students to analyse and apply it in the life situations.
Thus, the 57th Teachers’ day was celebrated at Don Bosco School Gunadala. The Spirit of joy overshadowed the entire campus. The day was filled with cultural Hangama. During the programme the fathers, teaching staff and domestic staff were felicitated with Harathi in Indian tradition and given gift of appreciation by the school leaders. The Chief Guest was Fr Garlapati Michael Koshore, Rector and Correspondent. In his message he expounded the sloka “Guru Brahma Gurur VishnuGuru Devo MaheshwarahaGuru Saakshat Para BrahmaTasmai Sree Gurave Namaha” and its meaning. He said that Guru is verily the representative of God. He creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. Further, Fr Garlapati Michael Koshore exhorted that all the students ought to salute such Gurus i.e., teachers for a lifetime and cherish their sacrifice of themselves, forbearance, professionalism and perfection in all areas and all circumstances. There were 490 students from Nursery to 5th std.
The cultural programme was followed by sharing of food together. Afternoon, the students have organized musical chair and throw ball competition while the teachers participated happily. The day ended with hearts filled with joy and love.
