On 14th July 2025, we, the family of Don Bosco School CBSE, Gunadala, proudly took a significant step toward environmental conservation by organizing the “VANAM-MANAM” program within the school premises. This green initiative witnessed the enthusiastic planting of saplings by our students, under the warm and encouraging presence of their parents, who were invited as guests of honor for the day.
The program was inspired and led by our beloved Principal, Reverend Father Bhaskar, whose dedication and vision laid the foundation for this noble cause. His guidance and motivating words instilled a deep sense of responsibility among all participants, making the event both meaningful and impactful.
What made this initiative truly special was the collective participation of both teaching and non-teaching staff, who stood shoulder to shoulder with students in planting hope for a greener tomorrow. The spirit of unity and shared purpose was visible in every corner of the school campus, as young hands placed saplings into the soil with care and joy.
Through this initiative, Don Bosco School has emerged as a torchbearer for creating a cleaner, greener, and pollution-free planet, doing its part to combat global warming and environmental degradation. Though a small step, it was a powerful reminder that every sapling planted today is a promise of life and sustainability for future generations.
Indeed, this Vanam Manam drive was not just about planting trees — it was about planting values, awareness and hope.
