Don Bosco School, Gunadala, convened its Educational Pastoral Committee (EPC) Meeting on 26th June 2026 under the leadership of Reverend Father Bhaskar, Rector and Principal, with the objective of planning and strengthening the Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan (SEPP) for the academic year.
The meeting was attended by Reverend Father Dilip, Administrator, the Academic Coordinator, teachers, Student Council leaders, office staff, parent representatives, and members of the Salesian Congregation. Father Bhaskar warmly welcomed the members and highlighted the importance of the EPC in fostering collaborative leadership and ensuring the holistic development of students through the Salesian system of education.
Addressing the gathering, he explained that the SEPP serves as the guiding framework for all educational and pastoral activities of the institution. He reiterated that Don Bosco School follows St. John Bosco’s Preventive System, built on the three pillars of Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness. He also shared the history of the institution, noting that the Salesian mission began in 1981, while Don Bosco School was established in 2019.
The committee reviewed the achievements of the previous academic year, including the successful organisation of academic, cultural, and co-curricular activities, the completion of the third batch of Class X students, the construction of a new stage, renovation of the school office, strengthening of campus safety through the compound wall, and the introduction of the Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Lab and the Language Lab.
Members actively participated in discussions on the plans for the current academic year, focusing on the roles and responsibilities of the EPC, collaborative planning, effective implementation of educational and pastoral programmes, and identifying the institution’s strengths and areas for improvement.
Concluding the meeting, Reverend Father Bhaskar thanked all the members for their valuable suggestions and enthusiastic participation. He encouraged everyone to work with unity, dedication, and the true Salesian spirit in nurturing young minds through quality education, faith formation, and character development. The meeting ended with a renewed commitment to effectively implement the Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan (SEPP) and make the academic year meaningful and successful for the entire school community.
