The 75th Independence Day Celebrations were held in a unique way by the Management and the staff of Don Bosco School. The celebrations were held in two phases, the first phase was online on 14th August 2021 and second phase offline on 15th August 2021.
The two phases of celebrations mesmerized the children and their involvement in celebrating the Independence Day at home and in the school. The pandemic has not been a block to pay tribute mymedic.es to the freedom fighters of our nation.
The dais was decorated with the Tricolour Flag our pride which represents sacrifice, courage and truth. The Independence Day celebrations at the school started with an assembly at 8.00a.m. in the presence of Rev. Fr. Kishore our Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Bhaskar our principal, Rev. Fr. James our administrator and Rev. Fr. Michael, Teachers, representatives from the parents and students. To Commemorate the sovereignty of our nation Rev. Fr. Kishore unfurled the Tricolour flag and National Anthem was sung and everyone saluted the national flag and expressed the joy of freedom that created a different ambience in the school premises. The colourful program had varying events including dance, music, speeches were themed on patriotism. An inspirational speech given by Rev. Fr. Kishore the correspondent. Later some motivational words from administrator Rev. Fr. James and then followed a speech by a teacher Jyothi which reminded the struggle, shedding of blood and sacrifices of freedom fighter. Rev. Fr. Bhaskar principal addressed the gathering and quoted the importance of the day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for every Indian to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. The program concluded with joyful note and Mrs. Neeraja proposed vote of thanks and sweets were distributed for all the gathering.
