Don Bosco School CBSE celebrated the Dimond Jubilee of India’s Independence on 15th August 2022. The Dimond Jubilee of India’s Independence Day celebrations focused on the Theme: We Celebrate: Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.  With Freedom in mind, Faith in the heart, Memories in souls, the whole school saluted Indian national flag with respect and honour as India keep the diamond Jubilee of Independence. This incredible Independence Day reminds every Indian, the beginning of a new era, the start of a new life free from bondage and slavery.

Such a rememberable days celebration started at Don Bosco School by hoisting the national flag by Chief guest Rev. Fr. Michael, Fr. Bhaskar Rector & Principal and Fr. James participated. Which followed by prayer and welcome dance.

The tiny tots of primary classes came forward with beautiful opening performance by tapping their feet and hands on their beating hearts with the river of patriotism made everyone spellbound.

What could be more wonderful than children representing our history? Rev. Fr. James recollected the importance of the day with meaningful examples. The Bosco kids showed their patriotism by singing inspirational melody in their mother tongue. The secondary students put their new ideology of yoga steps for patriotic tune and made everyone awestruck. The upper primary students mesmerized with their wonderful steps on the great deeds of our freedom fighters. To free our mother India from bondage was well depicted by 8th standard students through your mime.

To braces us for a high-octane dose of entertainment all our bonanza kids marched on to the stage to tune for saare jaha se acha on their keyboards and violins telling that their first performance is just a small step towards carrying on their legacy.

The celebrations had its complete with the speech of Fr. Bhaskar, Rector & Principal. The words of remembrance struck spellbound by saying that Independence Day doesn’t only mean to free India from slavery but we celebrate it with Liberty, Equality and Fraternity in daily life.

The programme came to an end with vote of thanks by Mrs. Neeraja, Co-Ordinator and followed by National Anthem.
