Jesus is the reason for the season. “It’s Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air”, W.J. Ellis.
Christmas is a festival of Love, Peace, Joy and Hope.
The students of Don Bosco school CBSE Carmel Nagar, Gunadala were all set in the spirit of Christmas celebration on the 20th December 2021.
The little shining stars of Pre-primary (LKG & UKG) filled the school with a festive look and crowned the stage. As the little kids dressed like angels and Santa clauses.
A group of angels from classes 2 & 3 escorted Rev. Fr. Upendra on to the stage for the inauguration & blessing of the Crib. There was reading of the birth of God from three holy books the Bhagavad Gita by teacher Mrs. Chandana, from the Quran by teacher Mrs. Annapurna and the Bible reading by Rev. Fr. James.
After the inauguration and blessing of the Crib we had the distribution of the sports certificates for classes 1, 2 &3.
Later, the Pre-primary teachers Mrs. Pushpa and Mrs. Prasanna Rani invited Rev, Fr. Bhaskar our dearest Principal to their classes (which were so colourfully decorated in accordance with the season of Christmas Cake. Father gave them a small message and later they had their cakes and snacks and were sent home.
It’s the birthday of our savior ‘Jesus Christ’, the appearance of God’s
greatest gift to mankind, the gift of his only beloved son, the precious gift of God’s
love, mercy and goodness in our midst.
On the 23rd December 2021, we celebrated Semi Christmas with the lighting of the Advent Candles by Rev. Fr. Micheal, Rev. Fr Kishore, Mrs. Judith Lambert, Mrs. Prabhavathi and Bhargav Sai followed by a prayer, a dance by 5th , 6th students and Father Kishore’s message on the meaning of Christmas.
Then we had the Tableau by the 6th, 7th and 8th class students which was
awesome and held everyone’s attention till the end.
Rev. Fr. James spoke a few words and wished everyone present. Rev. Fr. Micheal inspired everyone by his short and very valuable message to
be like Jesus.
Then Sports Certificates were distributed by Rev. Fr. Kishore and Fr. James for the high school students.
Rev. Fr. Bhaskar took us by surprise by singing a melodious song and gave us his Christmas message too.
Last but not the least the Vote of Thanks was rendered by Mrs. Naga Mounika with love and gratitude for all involved in making the day a wonderful one with memories to be cherished.
